Bradford is home to a number of areas which fall into the 0.01% most deprived in the UK. It is also acknowledged as being the youngest city in the UK, with the number of children and young people being larger than ever. With historically failing Children’s Services, the agenda for families and children is one of the top needs of our local council’s strategic plan.

At LIFE Play we believe in the importance of strong, healthy families; we also understand the complexities of family life and parenting, particularly with the additional pressures of our current economic climate. It’s one of our consistent goals to provide a source of support for local families.

Through LIFE play we are using play as a gateway to connect with the whole family, we are facilitating a safe, secure, fun environment in which children can play, imagine, explore and create. Whilst they are pursuing this, we are connect and build relationships with parents and seek to take a holistic approach to the care of the family, engaging them in programs, activities and conversations that will help them grow, restore hope and bring dignity to them as a family.
